Pathfinder & Master Guide Camporee Update I
5/21/10
PARENTAL PERMISSION & MEDICAL TREATMENT/CONSENT FORM (POSTED HERE ON WEBSITE)
Both, the Parental Permission and the Medical Treatment Slip signed by the parents are needed for registration. Pathfinders will not be admitted to the camp unless these two forms are properly filled out. Master Guides, Staff, and Support Staff also need to fill out a Medical Treatment Slip. No one will be admitted to the camp, unless we have the proper Medical Treatment Slip. We are asking every Club Director to make copies of all Parental & Medical Treatment Slips for everyone in the club and bring that second set in a separate folder to hand in to the First Aid Office during the Camporee. The Club will keep one set and the other set will be at the First Aid Office for the duration of the event.
CAMP BERKSHIRE NEW ACTIVITIES
There will not be an extra cost for the new activities during the Camporees this year. In conversations with the Camp we have agreed that as we inaugurate the new activities (climbing wall, ropes course, lake front, go carts) there will not be a fee on them due to the fact that when the price was announced at the beginning of the year, these activities fees were not included in the Camporee Registration Price. Camp Berkshire would like to make sure that our Pathfinders, Adventurers, & Master Guides participate freely of all events. Camp Berkshire has set prices for the activities, which will be in effect after our Camporee and beyond and will apply to future camporees. Special thanks to Camp Berkshire for this beautiful gesture at this time.
Following a list of the different activities offered during the Camporee:
Swimming, Ropes Course, Climbing Wall, Giant Swing, Horses (Mini-Horses), Inflatable Games, Canoeing & Boating, Nature Center, Hiking, BMX & Mountain Bikes, Bon Fire, among others.
Clubs will be able to participate of the activities on a first come first serve basis, there will be enough activities for all Pathfinders and Master Guides to participate in. As we have grown, at times, a bit of patience may need to be exercised and displayed.
