Pathfinder Bus Crashes in route to Camporee in Kenya
|
Kenya: Accident Leaves Four Dead, 21 Injured ...The driver of a bus
carrying 76 Pathfinders from Kisumu, Kenya to the nearby Lake Victoria
lost control when the brakes failed. The bus skidded off the road,
rolled about 200 meters down a hill to the riverbank leaving four dead
on the spot--three men ages 17 to 22 and one adult woman. About 21
Pathfinders were seriously injured and were admitted to the nearby
hospital. They are reported to be in stable condition. Others were
treated for minor injuries and shock and were discharged. A
one-year-old was found underneath the wrecked bus without injuries.
The Pathfinders were on the way to the East Africa Union Pathfinder
