AYES Corps Curriculum Released by Adventist Youth Ministries & Community Services Departments

The Adventist Youth Emergency Services Corps (AYES Corps) Curriculum prepares the individual to serve God, the Seventh-dayAdventistChurch, and the Community voluntarily in moments of crisis and emergencies. These emergencies may take place in our neighborhood, city, state, country, or world. The AYES Corps will be prepared to be first responders under the Directions of the supervision and combined leadership of Adventist Community Services and the Adventist Youth Ministries Department of the Greater New York Conference of the Seventh-dayAdventistChurch.

Anyone interested to become a member of the AYES Corps must attend the II Adventist Youth Evangelism & Leadership Congress this weekend.

The rest of the AYES Corps Calendar for 2008 is as follows:

April 25 – 27 ACS Headquarters weekend duty and training.

May 16 – 18 Weekend of group survival (as homeless) NYC.

June 6 -8 ACS Headquarters weekend duty and training.

August 22 – 24 ACS Headquarters weekend duty and training.

September 26 – 28 Rescue Training weekend (Camp Berkshire)

Trainings: (dates to be announced)

· CPR

· Disaster Response

· Visit to others agencies
