This was originally designed for a games evening, but suitable for Sabbath Activity or worship

This is a really fun game with lots of activity. The purpose is to look up the Bible texts and find the items indicated - but there are a few twists. Firstly, the bible texts are hidden inside balloons. The first thing for each team to do is blow up the balloons leaving the texts inside. These can be stored in a garbage bag so they don't get mixed up with another team's. When everyone is ready the race begins. The first person picks a balloon out of the bag, puts it between their legs and kangaroo hops up and around a chair and back to their team. They then have to pop the balloon by sitting on it - they may need a bit of help, but pins etc. are definitely ou!! When they have the text they look it up, discover what piece of treasure they are after and run up to the end of the room where a box or bucket stores all the treasure. When the person returns with this piece of treasure the team is ready to select another balloon and start the process all over again. When all the treasure has been claimed and all the teams are finished each team is given the opportunity to choose one piece of treasure that they will be asked a question about. Keep the groups to 3 or 4 and have an adult helping each group. You can let everyone have a look at the treasure before you start if you choose. I have tried to keep it to a natural bush type theme.
