When we arrived at the Auditorum la Bible, of the one largest Adventist church in Port-au-Price, and one were the suffering of our people is still highly visibly, we were greeted on arrival by the senior Pastor who was having a conversation with the deputy Major of the city, Nadege J. Augustin.
She gave us a synopsis of the devastation but quickly got to point which we not expecting. She we said, she is asking the Adventist to take care of their people and some others, if possible. The said the government does not have any plan or the resources to deal with the problem the church is facing.
This is simple a confirmation of the situation concerning our churches and brethren here in Port-au-Price- If they must rebound, if they must rebuild, help will have to come from within. In other words, it is Adventist who will have come to the rescue of the Adventist.
