A military newspaper and a Spanish-speaking paper in Puerto Rico have highlighted the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church/ADRA in Haiti. In both articles the name of our own Adventist Youth Emergency Services Corps member Kelvin Rivas was recognized. Kelvin is also an Adventist Youth Coordinator in Greater New York and a member of the Rockville Center Seventh-day Adventist Church in Long Island. He has been in Haiti leading Greater New York Conference's Relief Team II for the last two weeks.
The two other members of this team are Pastor Reginald Barthelemy, who pastors the French Ephraim and French Canaan Churches in Long Island, and Samuel Maxine, an Elder at the French Gethsemane Seventh-day Adventist Church.
